Louvers are available in parallel or opposed blade operation and in a variety of materials to withstand the most difficult combinations of temperature and atmosphere.
Louver dampers can be supplied for high temperature applications. For high temperature service, the frame is internally lined with refractory and the blade material is of an alloy suitable for that specified temperature. Louvers can be designed for service temperatures in excess of 2000˚ F.
