Tee dampers are offered in many different types of configurations. The process application will determine both the type of configuration and materials of construction required.
At the basic level, a Tee damper is constructed with a carbon steel housing, carbon steel blades, 304 S.S. shafts, bronze or carbon sleeve bearings, John Crane 100 AL packing, and metal to metal step seats.
Adjustable linkage can be provided between the driven damper blade and the slave damper blade to allow the use of a single actuator to operate the blades in parallel. The option of independent actuation of each blade is also available.
